In honor of a great musician whose birthday just passed (2/21/33) and whose passion for civil rights never faded, I decided to do a video blog of this great performer. Words simply fail to express the emotion that her music encompassed. For her, and in honor of Black History Month, may I humbly present Nina Simone.
